Jessica Stenson

Hello! My name is Jessica. I have been working for Dr. Lauson since 2004 and in the orthodontic field for eight years. I enjoy all the people I work with here because we all learn from each other and all have a lot of fun together.

In my time away from work, my husband Patrick and I enjoy spending time with our two children, Tommy Jay and Layla, and our puppy.  We enjoy all outdoor activities.

Mandy Phipps

Hi I’m Mandy! I have been working in the orthodontic field since 2002 when I completed the Dental Assistant program at PIMA. Something I learned here during one of our morning huddles is that happiness is a state of mind, not a circumstance. You yourself chose to be happy each day. This has helped me get through the difficult times.

Nick is my wonderful tag-team partner. Together we are raising our two children, Dylan and Kallie. We have lived in Littleton for the past four years and love it there. My free time is spent playing with my kids, reading and listening and dancing to music.

As an aspiring orthodontist myself, I feel so lucky to have worked with Dr. Lauson for over three years now. The knowledge, skill and care that Dr. Lauson has taught me are truly priceless. I am in the process of applying to the University of Colorado Dental School and am enjoying my baby boy born in August of 2009! I always look forward to the opportunity to learn new things and enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I appreciate a great sense of humor and a beautiful smile!

Jenni Taylor

My husband, John, and I are originally from Kentucky. We met at Eastern Kentucky University and have been married for nearly 30 years. We have two sons, Paul and Adam. We moved to Colorado in 1985, and when I started working for Dr. Lauson in 1986, I knew I had found a home at AOTMJ. Dr. Lauson is awesome to work for and offers the best care to his patients. When not working at AOTMJ, I enjoy quilting, walking my two dogs, Bailey and Bogart, and reading.

Trish Yonts

I have worked for Dr. Lauson for three years and enjoy working at the front desk because of the opportunity it provides me to interact with patients. Prior to working for Dr. Lauson, my exposure to orthodontics was limited to the experience I had when each of my three sons were in braces. My personal experience with TMJ treatment and braces has been beneficial in that, not only have my TMD symptoms diminished, but I am able to share my familiarity with the treatment of our patients.

I have a cat named Tikki who is seven. In the evenings after work I enjoy watching my favorite TV shows: Medium, NCIS, The Mentalist, Without a Trace, Ugly Betty and CSI. My passion is faux and decorative painting and interior design. I am an avid recycler and initiated the recycling program here at Aurora Orthodontics.

Donna Garrett

My time at AOTMJ is special to me because of all the wonderful people who work here. At the front desk we do our very best to book patient appointments that work with their busy schedules. The Drs. and clinic staff are so professional and care greatly about each patient.

Away from work I enjoy doing things with my family, especially my cute grandson, Blake.

Tonnya Mucha

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Michael, for over 16 years. He is also employed by AOTMJ but you may never have had the opportunity to see him. He is the behind the scenes IT man. He helps keep all of our state of the art equipment running at top performance. We have four children. Josh is 22 and just graduated from college. He will enter medical school in the fall of 2010. Brittney is 21 and is studying communications. She would like to be a sports broadcaster for ESPN someday. She attended two years of her studies in Lindsborg, Kansas on academic and athletic scholarships. Mikel is 15 and will be entering his junior year at Cherokee Trail High School where he plays varsity baseball. Dyllin, our youngest is 14 and will be entering high school in the fall. He too is very athletic, playing basketball and baseball on a traveling team. I love my family, the Lord, and live to watch my kids play sports. I’m very athletic myself. I exercise regularly and like to play softball and travel.

I’ve been an orthodontic technician for 16 years and I love my job. It will be 10 years in September 2009 that I have worked for Dr. Lauson. I enjoy helping people improve their overall appearance and with any discomfort they might be experiencing.

I love our new office that we relocated to in September of 2008. Not only is it state-of-the-art, but it is so open and inviting, we were able to expand the services we are able to provide to our wonderful patients.

Laurie McGinley

Welcome to our website, my name is Laurie. I changed my career path when I was 40 years old and went into orthodontics and have greatly enjoyed it ever since. I love working with the whole Aurora Orthodontic’s team. Not only is Dr. Lauson a professional and accomplished orthodontist, he knows how to spoil his patients as well as his employees. We really have pleasant patients that seem to love coming to our office.

On weekends I love spending time with my husband, Matt, and our baby Willie, the cutest Lab on the planet. We enjoy our time spent in the mountains at our new log cabin.

Sue Campbell

Hi, my name is Sue and though I am fairly new to the orthodontic field I am finding it very enjoyable as well as interesting. For many years my previous area of employment was in ophthalmology. Dr. Lauson and Dr. Baker are excellent orthodontists and the staff are very professional, personable and helpful. I love working in our beautiful office at Southlands and really value our many nice patients.

My husband, Carroll, and I like taking our sweet Golden Retriever, Belle, camping, fishing, and hiking in our free time.

Kristina Long

Hello, my name is Kristina and I am the office sterilizer. I started at AOTMJ in August 2007. I am in charge of cleaning all the instruments used in the clinic. I am also the go-to-girl for any errands that need to be done. One of the aspects of this office that I love is my coworkers. I have never worked with such a great bunch of people.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my many pets, which include…two dogs, two cats, three snakes, and a turtle. I am the oldest of four siblings and am definitely the quiet one of the group.

I can’t wait to meet all the new faces coming to Aurora Orthodontics & TMJ.

Sarah Worton

I have enjoyed working at Aurora Orthodontics & TMJ since 2001. As a former patient of Dr. Lauson’s, I can speak first-hand about the quality care and treatment provided. We have the best team of caring and knowledgeable professionals around. I enjoy most getting to know our patients and their families. It is wonderful to see their lives change as their smile develops.

In my personal time I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband and two terrific kids. Together we enjoy home improvement projects, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends.

Stephanie Osborn

I have worked in all facets of the Orthodontic field for 10 years now. I love to see the lives we change here at AOTMJ by creating exquisite, healthy smiles. I appreciate all the knowledge and skill I have acquired working with Dr. Lauson.

When I am not at work, I enjoy being with my beautiful family.
